hi there, nice to meet you!
I’m Laura Birdsall, a Burlington, Vermont-based yoga teacher!
I first began taking yoga classes in 2011 as a way to complement my running and fitness routine. I quickly fell in love with the way yoga made me feel — mentally, emotionally, and physically. My physical practice became an access point to my mind. Now, I practice yoga because it feels like coming home to myself, and I hope you’ll join me on the mat sometime.
My classes are designed to leave you feeling rejuvenated. After a class with me, my hope is that you’ll be rested in your physical body and energized in your soul. To that end, I specialize in slow flow and restorative yoga — but I love an active power flow every now and then, too!
A little about me: I find delight in heart-centered conversation, moving my body in ways that feel good, developing and nurturing myself and my relationships through healing & nourishing practices, and finding ways to protect & respect the earth in my daily routine. When I’m not on my yoga mat, you can find me curled up with a book, playing with my food in the kitchen, or riding my bike.
